When To Arrange Deceased Pet Pick-Up Service
If your beloved pet has passed away at home, the vets at Horizon are available to assist you with the collection and body care arrangements of your dog or cat. We are not just a transport service, but we are the premier end of life service for your beloved pets offering palliative veterinary care and home euthanasia, supporting you all the way until the very end.
When Paws Become Wings
If your pet passes away at home and you decide to contact us, your call will be answered by either Dr. Kaori and Dr. Ana directly.
We will guide you through scheduling your pet’s collection, as well as memorialisation and cremation options.
Schedule a time for collection. During this phone call, we will ask to confirm any details about your requests and answer any questions or concerns.
Arrive at your home where we can further discuss the aftercare options for cremations or memorabilia.
When you are ready, we will gently tuck your pet into a comfortable bed or stretcher with soft blankets for transport to the Edenhills crematorium.
We will give you as much time as needed to say your last goodbyes.
We will leave you with some brochures for grief support, if needed.

Dr Kaori and Dr Ana have over 20 years of experience combined. Most of which was spent looking after the dogs and cats of Adelaide. They take pride in providing the comfort and care every pet deserves at the end of their lives in the privacy of their home.

We understand that things can happen unexpectedly. If your pet passes away at night, you can call us in the morning to organise a collection, or you can take your pet to the closest emergency centre should you wish to drive yourself.
